About This Quiz
Each round shows two short vehicle video clips side by side — one is real footage of a car, train, plane or other vehicle, the other was generated entirely by an AI model. Your job is to pick the real one. Vehicles are an interesting test case for AI video: they have hard surfaces with predictable reflections, mechanical motion patterns, and interaction with physical environments like roads and runways — all areas where current AI models still make subtle mistakes.

Tips for Spotting AI Vehicle Video
- Surface reflections — car paintwork and windows should reflect the surrounding environment consistently; AI often gets this slightly wrong
- Wheel rotation — wheel spin speed should match vehicle velocity; mismatches are a classic AI tell
- Tire contact — real tires deform slightly on contact with the road; AI tires often look perfectly round at all times
- Background drift — edges of frame can shift unnaturally in AI video, especially during turns or acceleration
- Exhaust and dust — particle effects from exhaust, dust or spray often behave slightly unnaturally in AI-generated footage
