Guess the AI Prompt
You see an AI-generated image — your job is to reconstruct the exact prompt used to create it. Score a point for every keyword you guess correctly. The more specific you are, the higher you score.
Tests a different skill than spotting fakes: here you learn how AI images are made, not just whether they are.
A real AI-generated photo appears — look closely at style, subject, setting, and mood.
Enter the keywords you think were in the original prompt. Each correct word scores a point.
After submitting, the full original prompt is revealed. Compare how close you were.
Why Is Guessing Prompts Useful?
Understanding how prompts work makes you better at both creating AI images and detecting them. When you know that a prompt like "golden hour, shallow depth of field, Nikon D850" produces a specific photographic look, you start recognising those signatures in images you encounter — whether or not they're labeled as AI.
It also trains you to look at images more analytically: lighting style, color grading, subject positioning, background complexity — details that tell you something about how an image was made.
Tips for Guessing Better
- → Describe the subject first: Main subject, species or object, action — these are almost always in the prompt.
- → Note the photography style: Portrait, macro, aerial, studio — lighting and angle clues are usually in the prompt.
- → Think about mood words: "dramatic", "serene", "minimalist" — AI models respond strongly to these adjectives.
- → Include color references: If the palette is distinctive ("golden", "monochrome", "neon"), it was probably in the prompt.
- → Guess the camera or art style: Prompts often include model names like "Nikon", "Hasselblad" or style words like "photorealistic" or "oil painting".
